An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Service Improvement department here at CFRS helping to push forward the delivery key of its 4-year strategy known as the Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP).
Based in the Corporate Programme Office (CPO) the primary focus of this role will be the delivery of a new HR and Payroll system (HRIS) for the Service.
Working closely with the People and Organisational Development department the Project Manager will lead and oversee the procurement of the new system(s) and its subsequent implementation (including design, build and testing) as well as helping to facilitate the review of and improve current internal HR processes to complement the introduction of the new system.
Whilst experience of system implementations is not a pre-requisite, knowledge and experience of complex system implementations, in particular HRIS and payroll systems is highly desirable for the role.
Outside of the HRIS implementation as part of the CPO there will also be the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of other CRMP related projects to help lead and drive improvement across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and be used to producing high quality project planning, progress tracking and reporting documentation.
The successful candidate will be based at the Service Headquarters at Sadler Road in Winsford. The Service operates an Agile working policy and there will be some opportunity for remote working.
